2026-2029 Strategic Plan
The Yukon First Nations Culture and Tourism Association is proud to share its 2026-2029 Strategic Plan, which will guide the organization’s work over the next three years.
This plan reflects the voices and perspectives of members, Yukon First Nations, artists, tourism operators, cultural centres, partners, funders, and stakeholders who contributed through surveys, interviews, and strategic planning discussions. It provides a clear and practical roadmap for strengthening Yukon First Nations arts, culture, and tourism while ensuring YFNCT remains a strong, sustainable, and responsive organization.
The strategic plan focuses on five key priorities:
- Organizational Sustainability
- Member and Community Development
- Market Access and Visibility
- Partnerships, Advocacy, and Research
- Signature Platforms and Gatherings
Grounded in collaboration and Indigenous leadership, the plan reaffirms YFNCT’s role as a connector, advocate, and champion for authentic, community-led and Nation-led arts, culture, and tourism development across the Yukon.
We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who shared their time, knowledge, and perspectives throughout the planning process. Your contributions helped shape the direction of this plan and the future of YFNCT.
