ABOUT YFNCT
The Yukon First Nations Culture and Tourism Association (YFNCT) was formed in 2013 with the merging of the Adäka Cultural Festival and the Yukon First Nations Tourism Association. At the time, YFNTA has one half time staff member and the Adaka Cultural Festival was produced by contractors. The merger of these two entities created an umbrella organization with dual mandates: to foster the development of YFN arts and culture, and to expand the emerging opportunities in indigenous tourism. YFNCT has grown exponentially in the past 9 years, and now has 7 full time staff and delivers a long list of programs, services and events under three departments including Arts, Tourism and Marketing. Yukon First Nations Culture and Tourism Association is led by a strong board of directors composed of YFN leaders in the arts/culture and tourism industries.
